There are many methods to improve your Mac performance. For a quick check of memory problems, first open Activity Monitor. Pick the processes that are causing the issue and then press to quit. You can click Quit if the program is taking over a lot of memory. You can use the System Memory tab as well to check if there are any processes that run slow within your Mac.
